Young Restaurant Team of the Year
Competition

Launched in 2012, the competition brings together teams from across the UK who run a live restaurant service for guests and esteemed judges.

All competitors are aged 21 or under, with each team comprising two chefs and one front of house who balances the role of service and sommelier. Each team can be guided in advance of competing by a nominated mentor. The semi-finals will take place in March.

Selected finalists will compete on 25th June, prior to the commencement of the Skills for Chefs Conference 26th June. Winners will be announced that evening at the Gala Dinner.

The winners will embark on an international study tour. In recent years study tours have included visits to Italy, Spain, Portugal and Colombia. A gastronomic trip to Paris awaits this year’s winner.
